Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Saint Simons Island, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have prior golf course maintenance experience and a proven ability to support daily operations on a semi-private/resort-style high-end golf course. Responsibilities include assisting with crew supervision, irrigation and chemical application, and ensuring the course is maintained to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.
Requirements:
Candidate must have 2-4 year degree in turf management.
3 to 5 years experience in golf maintenance including pesticide calibration and application, and irrigation troubleshooting and repair.
Possess Georgia pesticide license or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Compensation:
$55,000 – $65,000 per year.
Golf privileges.
2 weeks of PTO.
401k, health, dental, vision, life insurance.
Uniform allowance.
Dues paid to both the GGCSA and GCSAA.
