Job Title : Clinical Scientist LCMS

Location: Pomona, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 7 Months



Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate LCMS methods for drug testing in oral fluid and urine samples.
• Support Test Method Characterization (TMC) and Test Method Validation (TMV) for calibrators and controls.
• Work with FDA-cleared drug of abuse assays integrated with clinical chemistry analyzers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance through QC audits and data integrity review.
• Design experiments independently and mentor junior staff as needed.
• Support product release for assays, including 510(k) cleared diagnostics.

Key Tools & Techniques:

• Shimadzu LCMS (highly preferred).
• Hamilton Liquid Handlers STAR, STARlet, or Nimbus.
• Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) using DPX Tips.
• Pipetting, filtration, and advanced sample preparation techniques such as solid phase extraction, filtration.

Education:

• MS or PhD in a scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in LCMS method development/validation.
• Strong bench skills and hands-on lab troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience working in an FDA-regulated laboratory environment.
