Salary: $180,000 - 220,000 per year Requirements:

• We seek candidates with experience in configuration management (Chef or Salt) or strong Ruby expertise. A background working with large-scale data stores, including technologies such as Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, and MySQL is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale, mission-critical Linux environments and cloud operations, preferably within Amazon Web Services. We value individuals with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with both local and remote teams and a history of making sound decisions, especially under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. We appreciate a mix of self-confidence and independence, along with the wisdom to seek assistance when necessary. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering, is required.

• In this role, I will maintain a thorough understanding of our data components, including Cassandra, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, utilizing that knowledge to operate and automate well-configured clusters. I will develop infrastructure services to aid the CrowdStrike engineering team in achieving a complete DevOps model. Collaboration with Engineering and Customer Support will be key as I troubleshoot time-sensitive production challenges at any hour. My mission will also include ensuring the security and availability of petabytes of critical business data.
