SalesBizLab We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Entry Level Event Specialist to join our growing team. As an essential part of our events department, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events that align with our organizational goals. This position is ideal for a passionate individual who is eager to learn about event management and is excited about working in a fast-paced environment. 

Job: Full time

Monday to Friday

Weekends free

Pay Range:

$21.50 - $28.00 per hour

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Location: Chicago, IL 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of events from conception to completion
• Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, and transportation
• Support the development of event timelines, budgets, and schedules
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service delivery
• Help create event marketing materials and promotional content
• Gather and analyze feedback from attendees to improve future events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic design software
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
