Field Project Manager
Warrendale, PA 15086
System One is seeking a Field Project Manager in Warrendale, PA to be responsible for delivering projects, managing the designers, providing project documents and contracts after awarded to construction. This is a great opportunity to join a respected client in the engineering and construction services sector!
Important Details:
Temp for 1 year (w/annual extension options) also with the option to convert direct after a minimum of 520 hours
Pay rate range: $50 - $55/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Weekly pay
Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.)
401k after 30 days
Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check
Interviews REQUIRED - via MS Teams
US Citizenship required
Must be able to clear the standard USPS background check
Specific responsibilities include:
Managing multiple projects in multiple locations to ensure quality and completion within budget and on schedule
Managing Architectural/Engineering firms
Requesting, reviewing, and negotiating fee proposals
Reviewing design documents for compliance with U.S. Postal Service Standard Design Criteria
Managing construction contractors
Preparing bid packages, reviewing and recommending bid awards
Reviewing, negotiating, and approving change orders
Requesting project funding
Conducting site visits for meetings or inspections as necessary
Closing out completed projects
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Management
5 years’ professional experience in the design & construction field.
