Job Description

GSL is seeking dedicated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our dynamic and growing team. As a part of GSL, you will have the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy machinery including excavators, skid steers, dozers, rollers, and crawler/carriers. Our company operates year-round, providing services in the oil/gas, environmental, and commercial landscape construction industries. We pride ourselves on keeping our operators busy throughout the year, offering stability and continuous work opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Handle various types of equipment as required by the job
• Work extended hours and overtime as needed
• Adhere to a 6-7 days a week work schedule, depending on project demands
• Safely operate trucks and other equipment
• Load and unload equipment as necessary
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of trucks and equipment
• Perform daily maintenance tasks and report any maintenance or repair needs
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License - Clean Driving Record Past 3 Years
• Previous experience in equipment operation is required
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
• CDL is a plus, but not required
