Job Description

Description Responsibilities: To process and receive, materials and equipment, and maintain inventory control and records; perform related work. + Completes accurate tally of goods and services received, which includes: weight, destination, and charges from bills of lading and shipper's declaration + Receives incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers + Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates retrieval of proof of delivery documents + Partner with inside sales to review and correct customer order discrepancies + Communicates with transport companies and suppliers in order to expedite, trace, or return merchandise that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders + Resolves discrepancies on the Metalware system or on manifest + Keeps records of materials received and uploads to the Imaging system for the team to access Qualifications: + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) + Related industry experience preferred Requirements: + Possess effective communication skills, which include verbal and written + Must have experience with Microsoft Office + Willingness to learn mainframe program (Metalware) + Start time varies from 7am-8am with a consistent 8-hour-a-day schedule We treat our employees right: We offer a full comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, short and long-term disability, paid vacation, PTO, 401(k) plans, and tuition reimbursement, among other competitive benefits.
