Job Title: Medical Assistant (Pediatrics) – Contract
Location: Flushing, NY 11355
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $20 – $22/hour
High School Diploma or GED – Required
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program – Required
Active CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification – Required
Pediatric experience – Strongly Preferred
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience – Preferred
Support pediatric providers during exams, procedures, and immunizations
Take and record patient vitals, update charts, and maintain EMR accuracy
Prepare exam rooms and ensure a safe, clean, child-friendly environment
Perform patient check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, and basic front desk support
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain infection control protocols
