• Assess participants’ needs and create individualized music therapy plans to support emotional, cognitive, and social well-being.
• Conduct individual and group music therapy sessions using diverse musical techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to integrate music therapy into overall care plans.
• Document and evaluate participants’ progress, adapting interventions as needed.
• Educate staff and family members on the benefits of music therapy and participate in team care discussions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with a valid Massachusetts license.
• Experience with seniors, especially those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques for older adults and evidence-based music therapy practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
