Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI tools (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service).
- Strong SQL skills for querying databases.
- Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with integrating Power BI with other platforms like Azure or Excel.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics tools (e.g., Python or R integration within Power BI).
Banking Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of financial operations, KPIs, and compliance requirements in banking.
- Experience in creating dashboards for tracking profitability, customer segmentation, and risk management.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Microsoft Power BI or related tools.
- Prior experience working in the banking or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of fraud detection techniques and financial forecasting model
