Join our clients CFO team in New York City, specialising in placements for private equity-backed companies across sectors. This team focuses on high-level roles, including C-level, C-1, and C-2 positions, and has also made successful Operating Partner placements.

The Role

As a Principal Consultant, you will own and grow your desk in this thriving space, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional results for our clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full 360 recruitment lifecycle, from business development and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and post-placement support.
• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing private equity-backed clients.
• Source and place high-calibre candidates in CFO, C-1, and C-2 roles, along with occasional Operating Partner positions.
• Provide strategic market insights to clients and candidates, staying ahead of trends in the private equity and executive recruitment space.
• Achieve individual revenue targets while contributing to the overall growth of the CFO desk.

About You

• Proven billing track record of $350k+ (recent and largely self-originated).
• Strong experience in executive recruitment, ideally within the private equity, C-level, or financial services sectors.
• Deep understanding of the executive recruitment landscape and private equity-backed businesses.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• A self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
