We are currently seeking a QA Tester to join our team in GDL, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Manual Lead Expectations

Leadership

1. Lead, mentor, and support Quality Assurance Staff and testing resources

• Best Practices

• In addition to identifying problems, actively participate in finding solutions

1. Collect Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Information and provide to leadership (weekly)
2. Assist team members with questions as first line of support with escalations to management, as needed
3. Lead stand up/team meetings as requested by manager
4. Actively participate in Quality Assurance Department meetings
5. Evaluate and recommend products and/or tools for quality assurance testing
6. Contribute to leadership meetings, like QA Ops & strategy meetings
7. Review and provide feedback on documentation from QA Leadership

Projects

1. Support team members at a high level

• Attend project meetings, as a point of escalation and as needed
• Assist with the overall testing strategy, estimates, test plans, as needed
• Review subset of project artifacts (documents, bugs, test cases, etc.) and provide feedback

1. Perform Phase Gate Reviews

Production Support Tickets

1. Assist team members by setting up area/iteration paths
2. Support team members at a high level

• Attend meetings as a point of escalation and as needed
• Assist the team member with the overall testing strategy for the change
• Assist with the test plan (if required)
• Review subset of change artifacts (documents, bugs, test cases, etc.) and provide feedback

Master Test Case Repository (MTCR)

1. Monitor and update as needed

Automation Lead Expectations

1. Coding Standards
   1. Keep automation framework current
   2. Create reusable functions
   3. Create efficiencies for automation team
   4. Ensure that automation code meets BCBSLA coding standards
      1. Perform code reviews
2. Tool Maintenance
   1. Keeps current toolsets to current versions
   2. Review toolset for continued viability and recommend tool updates/changes
   3. Troubleshoot tool issues with automation team
   4. Maintain lab environments
   5. Integrate and enhance test management tools (i.e., Azure DevOps) to support automation efforts
3. Automation Maintenance
   1. Review and maintain automated suites
   2. Provide guidance/design on automation solutions
4. Direct the work of the automation team
   1. Analyze projects for automation opportunities
   2. Assist in prioritizing efforts
   3. Contribute to setting the automation goals for the department
   4. Create automation strategy on larger projects
