Job Title : Licensed Session Monitor / Dosing Facilitator 
Location: Redding, CA-Onsite
Hours: ad hoc initially, expanding as trials are awarded
Compensation: $130 - $170 hourly
Travel: All expenses covered (including hotels for overnight stays)
Type: Contract

Overview

Joule is currently looking to hire "dosing facilitator" who will work at the ground level for a new psychedelic-focused site in Redding, CA. 

Initial work will be ad hoc, focused on:

• Site preparation
• Training and credentialing staff
• Feasibility studies

Hours will increase significantly as trials are awarded.

Additional responsibilities include facilitator training, scheduling, onboarding, and supporting post-session therapeutic integration. You will prepare participants for psilocybin dosing sessions and collaborate during dosing.

Responsibilities

• Lead dosing sessions and ensure protocol compliance
• Oversee site readiness and staff training
• Collaborate with an Assistant Monitor for patient interaction and support
• Provide client-facing leadership during feasibility, site preparation, and trials
• Administer clinical assessments directly

Requirements

• MD with psychiatry specialization and rater experience (e.g., MADRS, HAM-D)
• Minimum 5 years in practice; clinical research experience preferred
• Direct patient interaction experience required
• Psychedelic research experience ideal but not mandatory
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills
