As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a  Staff Accountant / Administrative Assistant to support our financial operations and administrative workflows. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in the fast-paced cybersecurity industry while developing your accounting and operational expertise within a collaborative and professional environment.

Position Overview

The Staff Accountant / Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and providing administrative support to company leadership.

The position begins as a  full-time, in-office role during a six-month probationary period. Upon successful completion, there will be potential for  hybrid work flexibility .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense tracking.
• Reconcile invoices, bills, and financial statements using  Xero and  Microsoft Excel .
• Process and track client billing cycles, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
• Maintain detailed financial records and assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Update and maintain commission sheets, expense logs, and project cost reports.
• Monitor orders and item status across internal systems and client platforms.
• Supported administrative operations by managing incoming mail, maintaining financial documentation, and processing orders.
• Provided audit support across multiple areas, including sales and tax documentation, budget assessments, and compliance reporting, contributing to accurate financial oversight and regulatory compliance.
• Handle sensitive financial and operational data in accordance with cybersecurity and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (experience in a technology or cybersecurity firm preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of  Xero ,  Microsoft Excel , and  SharePoint .
• Understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability and meeting deadlines.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (U.S. citizenship or permanent residency may be required for client compliance).

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Schedule: Full-time
• Work Location: In-office during probation (hybrid flexibility available after)
