All Things Metal, a seven-times best places to work winner, is seeking a dedicated, professional, and motivated Estimator with experience in structural steel. Our Estimators analyze projects to determine scope, schedule requirements, and necessary materials. They also coordinate detail, fabrication & erection to effectively bring their projects within budget and on schedule.

All Things Metal is a structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector located in Phoenix, Arizona, located off Central and Pinnacle Peak. We are a fast-paced environment with an existing culture in a challenging industry. We are looking for individuals to help take us to the next level and are here to stay.

**This position will be relocating in a couple years to Wittmann at 19500 W Jomax Road. If you aren't willing to make that commute, no need to apply.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Upon project completion, a closeout meeting is held with all departments to gather feedback for improvements.

· Review bid plans to determine scope.
· Clarify any ambiguities with client. 
· Complete steel takeoff in Bluebeam / Tekla Structures & Tekla Powerfab.
· Review bid for project specific nuances (access, special conditions, etc.…)
· Draft clear bid inclusions, exclusions, & notes
· Attend job walks
· Change orders – Review revised design drawings and price change orders

EXPERIENCE (Resolution + Quality + Accuracy)
· Must have a clear understanding of architectural and structural drawings, including structural steel.
· Must have Microsoft Office programs (Excel & Outlook) & basic computer/internet skills.
· Must have Bluebeam PDF takeoff (or equivalent) experience.
· 3-5 years of related experience as a structural steel estimator
· Helps to have Tekla EPM & Tekla Structures experience.
· Must be quality, detail, and accuracy oriented.
· Great verbal and written communication skills are required.
· Must be proactive, self-disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of an
awesome team.
