Job Title: Special Education Teacher Assistant
Pay: $17.00 – $17.50/hour
Term of Employment: 2025–2026 School Year (with option to extend into 6-week summer program)
Location: Greece Central School District (various locations)

What You’ll Do

• Work one-on-one or in small groups to bring lessons to life.
• Provide feedback to help teachers create personalized learning experiences
• Support students with special needs, adapting lessons to fit their strengths.
• Encourage positive social interactions and model appropriate behaviors.
• Assist with academics, arts, music, and life skills.
• Help students with mobility, behavioral, and learning-related needs.
• Be a trusted presence during arrival, dismissal, and throughout the day.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• 1+ year childcare/related experience (preferred, but flexible)

• Able to walk, stand, lift 25 lbs., and stay active

• Must be willing to purchase and pass NYSED fingerprint check
