Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated
Warehouse Order Puller with experience in picking, packing, and handling metal fixtures for our client in
Dallas , Texas . This position involves working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate: $18.50 hourly
Monday-Friday
9am-6pm Responsibilities: - Retrieve metal fixtures from assembly lines and prepare them for shipment.
- Utilize pick tickets and packing lists to accurately locate and pull products.
- Safely load and unload metal products onto pallets or trucks.
- Use tape measures and scanners to verify dimensions, quantities, and barcode scanning.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
- Shift schedules may vary due to cross-training across all departments, contingent upon the position and department.
Working Conditions: - Non-climate controlled warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Physical demands include pushing, pulling, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching
Requirements: - Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Experience in picking and packing
- Experience in forklift, a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Attendance and dependability are extremely important
- Able to follow verbal & written instructions; skilled in operating scanning equipment.
- Capable of picking and packing orders, with a willingness to undergo training across all warehouse departments.
- Must be able to use Material handling Equipment during the course of the training
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
