The primary duty of this position is to provide on-site installments, and quality, professional and consistent customer service. The Installer is directly responsible for maintaining and improving customer relationships while interacting with customers during on-site home installations.
Must have industry experience. Please do not apply if you have never installed window treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Installation – Install blinds, shades, shutters, and awnings into a variety of surfaces, drywall, wood, metal and cement. Remove and dispose of old window treatments. Conduct repairs and fix issues in the field. Maintain and organize work van and equipment and keep in operational order. Collect balance on jobs from clients, complete client paperwork as required. Leave homes clean and damage free of parts, garbage, dust free, etc.. Interact with clients professionally.
· Communication – Ability to clearly communicate with others including clients, co-workers and vendors.
· Measuring – Ability to read a tape measure and accurately record the measurements of window openings. Requirements of reaching over the head, bending, and working safely around furniture. Ability to safely climb ladder to measure window openings.
· Warehouse Work – Prep and load products into work van for installations. Assist in maintaining warehouse. Disassemble pallets of products and place trash in dumpster.
· Must have a valid clean driver’s license and no criminal background.
