Job Title: Process Operator III

Location: Roseville, Minnesota 55113

Duration: 6 Months
Training Schedule: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM for approximately 2 months

Permanent Schedule: 2:30 PM 11 PM

Summary:

  • We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Process Operator to support our regeneration operations. This role involves operating equipment, handling materials, and ensuring processes meet both safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial setting and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all workplace safety and product quality guidelines.
  • Read and follow documented processes and procedures.
  • Monitor equipment throughout the shift to ensure proper operation.
  • Load and unload deliveries from regional branches.
  • Operate area-specific equipment, such as:
  • REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin type, operate forklifts, evacuate bottles to generate resin batches, and fill/test SDI products from start to finish.
  • Contribute to team goals and division performance.
  • Support internal and external customer needs and expectations.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or plant setting.
  • Familiarity with chemicals used in industrial processes.
  • Completion of site-specific safety and operator training (including HAZWOPER).
  • Ability to clearly communicate with team members.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Forklift operation experience preferred.
  • Site-Specific (Carbon): Must be able to complete 40-hour hazardous waste operations training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, see, and hear continuously.
  • Frequent walking, writing, and typing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs.
  • Work may take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme heat (up to 120 F) or cold (down to 0 F).
  • May require use of hearing protection and exposure to dust, dirt, and concrete surfaces.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and communicate effectively by phone and in writing.
